The MS North West Therapy Centre exists to enrich the lives of people with Multiple Sclerosis and other neurological conditions by providing essential services and support to clients and their families.
The Centre relies heavily on the tireless dedication and enthusiasm of our fundraisers to enable us to continue to fund and support people with MS. The building and refurbishment of Woodhaven, a state of the art holiday facility on 1st Sea Road, Strandhill Rod, Sligo has been completed and is now receiving guests. This new service will provide totally person-centred holiday/respite breaks for people with MS and their families and carers.

In early 2005 I set up my own business working as a welder and stainless fabricator. It was a dream come true. I loved my work, and thought nothing would go wrong. In 2007, my balance got bad. I felt I walked like a drunken man at times. In 2008 I was diagnosed with MS.I thought my world had ended, but now looking back, I think , maybe I was diagnosed in time. When I was diagnosed with MS, I heard about the MS Centre in Sligo. I never knew about it before, I arranged an appointment to see the Manager, and I have been using the Centre ever since. Life is different now, but not too bad. I would just like to thank all of the staff of the MS Centre for all their good work and help over the past three and a half years.
